If you tend to string words together in interesting ways that involve furries, then come on out and meet others who do the same! This is an informal get-together to network with other authors. Share ideas, make contacts, and get to know your fellow local writers.

Boardroom A
When it comes to good writing, the basis is really a strong character. Discuss how to build your characters from scratch, give them life, and make them an integral part of your fiction.
This event supports our charity, OWL, by torturing attendees with the worst fiction we can find. Our presenter reads at you until someone pays to make the pain stop... then someone else can pay to make them keep going - or to have somebody act out the scene, or to cause other nefarious occurrences! Join us for some laughs and to help a great cause.

More precisely, where's your story set, and why? World building is one of the most entertaining parts of creating fiction, simply because it's such an open book. How do you decide where to start? What goes into a good world? Why is it so important? Come out and discuss all these and more!
A starting look at writing and what one can expect in the field. From basic planning to starting to look for an editor/agent/publisher along with the trials and tribulations that come along with it..
It's been called the worst science-fiction story of all time. It's full of spelling errors, and bad grammar. And we're going to read it! Together! How long can you last without laughing out loud?
Bring your writing utensils and put your skills to the test: we throw out a writing prompt, and give attendees a few minutes to produce a story based on that prompt. Then we share the results, usually to general hilarity. It's a fun couple of hours and a chance to stretch your writing talents through time pressure and surprise topics!
